Amanda Acreman, Sales Director

Amanda stepped into the golf industry professionally 3 years ago when given the opportunity to take the Sales position at LakeRidge Country Club in her hometown of Lubbock.  Although she was already well familiar with the sport and culture as she played competitively in High School before qualifying for Texas Tech’s team her freshman year.  While she still enjoyed the sport as a hobby, her main focus was on achieving her degree and jump starting a career in Retail Merchandising.   After many years of retail management, Amanda was ecstatic to realize she could combine both her passions at a Country Club setting.  She looks forward enriching the membership here at River Crossing as well as developing a prominent banquet following.

Paul Murrison, General Manager

Paul has a history dating back to 1993 in Hotel/Resort, Food & Beverage, and Golf Club Management. Included in his extensive background are stints at Moss Creek Country Club in Hilton Head; Thorntree Country Club in DeSoto, TX; The Club at Jefferson Landing, Jefferson, NC; and, LakeRidge Country Club, Lubbock, TX. In those positions, Paul held positions including Banquet Manager, Sr. Food & Beverage Director (American Golf Country Clubs), Assistant General Manager and General Manager. For RCC, Paul will be responsible for all River Crossing Club Management and Food & Beverage Operations. Paul and his wife, Christi are enjoying raising their daughter and son.

Jari K. Tompuri, Head Golf Professional, PGA

Jari comes to River Crossing Club with 28 years of extensive business and successful golf experience. He will be responsible for the daily operations of the Golf Shop, Practice Facilities and Course Management. Jari will be available for private or group lessons, and will manage all outside play and tournaments. Jari and his wife, Crystal along with their 3 children are enjoying living in the San Antonio/Hill Country region.

Paul Lane, Golf Course Superintendent

Paul received his Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University. He has been with River Crossing Club since March of 2000 managing the construction and grow-in/maintenance of the course. Paul has over 20 years of golf course maintenance experience. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter along with hunting and playing golf.

Darren Reed, Executive Chef in Charge of Food and Beverage

Chef Reed started his career at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel advancing his way through many positions.  In 1989, he transferred to the Hilton Intercontinental Hotel in Houston Texas. He later became the Excecutive Chef of several ClubCorp private golfing clubs, the last being April Sound Country Club in Montgomery, Texas.  After closing their deli in downtown Conroe Texas, Darren and his lovely wife Angela moved to San Antonio.  Darren and Angela enjoy raising their 2 sons and beautiful daughter.  Darren is elated to be a member of the Scottsdale Group family. 

Laura Gordon, Controller

Laura is in charge of  accounting and human resources for RCC.  Born and raised in Seattle, Laura, her husband and 3 amazing teenagers moved to Spring Branch from southern California in 2007.  Laura has 15 years of experience in Accounting and Human Resources and she's thrilled to be a part of the team at  River Crossing Club.
